A new survey has revealed that flowers make the best Valentine's Day gift.

According to the latest CBS News 'Sunday Morning' Pulse Poll, 52 percent of Americans admitted that they would prefer flowers and 18 percent wished for perfumes.

Candy came in as a close second among older Americans while enthusiasm for lingerie as a Valentine's Day gift appeared to diminish as only 8 percent opted for it.
