After announcing Ranveer Singh as the lead actor of his upcoming flick 'Befikre,' Aditya Chopra has now revealed that his leading actress would be Vani Kapoor.
The Yash Raj Films recently took to Twitter and shared a three-minute video of the 27-year-old actress introducing herself as the female lead of the flick, reports the Express Tribune.
In the video, the 'Shudh Desi Romance' star is seen explaining her two-year absence from the silver screen saying, "These years have been tough. After winning most promising debut awards, I expected my office to flood with offers but things did not fall into place the way I pictured."
She further mentioned that the 44-year-old director had asked her to keep faith in herself and wait for the right project and when she was approached for the flick she was left clueless.
Aditiya had launched his comeback on his father's 83rd birth anniversary.
