Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari has greeted citizens on the auspicious occasion of Id-ul-Zuha, which is being celebrated tomorrow.
"I extend my greetings and good wishes to all our citizens on the auspicious occasion of Id-ul-Zuha. The festival celebrates the treasured ideals of compassion, sharing and sacrifice," Vice President Ansari said in his message.
"Let us observe this joyous occasion by spreading the message of peace, harmony and goodwill in our midst," he added.
Id-ul-Zuha (Bakr-Id), which is also known as Eid al-Adha or Id-ul-Adha, is a festival that Muslims celebrate with special prayers, greetings and gifts. It is also referred to as the festival of sacrifice.
