Vice President Hamid Ansari on Wednesday interacted with the winners of the Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) awards, which were presented earlier in the day.
The Vice President said that India's unity in diversity is denoted by an India Rupee note, on which the denomination is written in many Indian languages. He called upon the winners to use their scientific temper for more innovative inventions and wished them good success in their future.
The INSPIRE programme, which covers students in the age group 10-32 years, has an objective to communicate to the youth of the country the excitement of creative pursuit of science and attract talent to the study of science at an early age.
