Asian Games bronze-medallist Vikas Krishan advanced to the finals of the middleweight category of the Asian Boxing Championship after comfortably defeating his Iraqi opponent Waheed Abdulridha in Bangkok on Friday.
The 23-year-old produced an attacking display to outclass Abdulridha 3-0 to set up a summit clash against Uzbekistan's Bektemir Melikuziev.
However, Satish Kumar (+91kg), L Devendro (49kg) and defending champion Shiva Thapa (56kg) had to settle for bronze medals after losing their respective semifinals.
