Known for rubbing B-Town celebs up the wrong way, Kamaal R Khan recently landed in a legal soup after filmmaker Vikram Bhatt filed a defamation case against KRK.

It all began when the 'Deshdrohi' actor accused the 47-year-old film director of trying to "supply Meera Chopra to a well-known producer." After which, Vikram sent a criminal defamation notice to KRK alleging that he has been circulating false and derogatory stories.

Later, Kamaal took to his Twitter page to post a snap of the notice online and a series of tweets.

He wrote: "Great director Vikram Bhatt has filed defamation case against me. Lol! Sir I will meet you in the court with proof. I just want to inform Mr. Vikram Bhatt that Meera Chopra herself told me the whole story... Now I will reveal in the court that how Vikram Bhatt tried to supply Meera Chopra to a well known producer by many dirty tricks."

Vikram's lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee told the SpotBoye, "I had already served a Criminal Notice on Mr. Kamal Rashid Khan for and on behalf of Mr. Vikram Bhatt, and he was required to respond to the same within 7 days.

He added, "The said 7 days got over yesterday and it is obvious that he does not have any reply or justification for his criminal acts. Instead, he has chosen to blatantly continue his criminal acts showing complete disregard to the Laws laid down by the Statute, and even had the audacity to outrage the modesty of my other client Ms. Meera Chopra.
