Viola Davis is said to be in talks to play Amanda Waller in the upcoming superhero flick 'Suicide Squad.'
The Warner Bros. project, which is based on the DC Comics series, has already announced some of the cast which includes Jared Leto as Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot, and Margot Robbie as the Joker's girlfriend, Harley Quinn, and now rumours have hit that the Oscar nominated star may be cast as the government agent who heads up 'Suicide Squad's' team of villainous antiheroes, the CNN reported.
Davis has been considered for the role for a long time now along with Oprah Winfrey and Octavia Spencer, but if she's confirmed for the part, she'll have to clear the room as she's already appearing in two dramatic films slated for release in 2015, in addition to ABC's hit drama 'How To Get Away with Murder.'
The film, which also stars Tom Hardy as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Boomerang and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, is scheduled to hit theaters in August 2016.
