Former Pakistan pace spearhead Wasim Akram believes that the inaugural edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will help improve the country's cricket 'tremendously'.
Akram, who has been appointed as the league's brand ambassador along with Ramiz Raja, stated that he was excited about PSL, insisting that Pakistan cricketers and the coaching staff would gain valuable experience from the league besides getting financial benefits, the Dawn reported.
The PSL is slated to be held next year in Doha in February and the fast bowling icon believes that the players would get exposure and confidence the way Indian players are getting in the IPL by playing alongside superstars.
