Indian skipper Virat Kohli showed faith in his team after India beat South Africa by 63 runs, at the New Wanderers Stadium, and said that the team is capable of achieving this feat again.
"The character we showed today makes us believe that we can do this again. People showed lack of trust in us but we knew that if we play under pressure conditions we can win against them," Kohli said in the post match press conference.
The 29-year-old also added that South Africa were the better team in the first two Test matches at Cape Town and Centurion and deserved to win.
"South Africa played better than us in the first two games so they deserved to win but we played better than them in this one and deserved to win," Kohli said.
Earlier on Friday, the third day of the match was called-off early after match umpires held a long discussion with the respective team captains over an incident where a back of a length delivery from Jasprit Bumrah hit Dean Elgar on his helmet.
Moreover, with ten minutes of the day's play remaining, it started to drizzle, forcing the groundsmen to put the covers on and call for stumps.
Kohli believes that the Indian team showed great character in the circumstances and throughout the series, giving a tough competition to the hosts.
"This day will be remembered for a long time by the team. I'm sure the public enjoyed," the captain concluded.
South Africa have won the three match Test series 2-1.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was declared Player of the Match for picking up four wickets and scoring 30 in the first innings and 33 in the second innings with the bat.
The six match One Day International (ODI) series will begin on February 1 in Durban.
