New Delhi [India], Dec. 22 (ANI): Early this month, the nation went gaga when Shah Rukh Khan came up with the trailer of his much awaited movie 'Raees.'
The result is hence before everyone! In not even a month, the movie has garnered more than 30 million views and huge appreciation by every single person.
Speaking on the same during a telephonic interview with ANI, producer Ritesh Sidhwani told that they were initially a bit concerned about the movie.
"We are happy and glad with the response. We were a little bit concerned about the movie, as its teaser came out almost 18 months before and was highly appreciated. So we were a little concerned whether the trailer will be able to live up to the expectation," he said.
He further explained, "We were lucky that it did so. We had faith in what we have put out there. We had an overwhelming response with almost over 21 million views on the first day and as being told by many other people, it has never happened for any other film before."
While speaking about 'Raees' pre-release pressure, Sidhwani added, "Pressure is on every film. But people are waiting to see Shah Rukh in such a role. He has not played anything such before. After a long time, he is out there. People are looking forward to see Shah Rukh in a role like this."
The Rahul Dholakia-directed flick, also starring Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is set to hit the theatres on January 25, next year.
