Giving weightage to the argument that boys hate shopping, a man from China jumped to his death after his girlfriend refused to end her shopping spree.
According to the Chinese media, the unnamed man, 40, committed suicide from the 7th floor of the Xuzhou Golden Eagle mall because of his spat with his partner, News.com.au reported.
When the frustrated man scaled a 1.5m high rail alongside an elevator shaft at the centre of the mall and jumped, he landed on a plastic-and-glass cosmetics stand.
A woman working at the cosmetics counter said that she was talking to 2 customers when she heard a huge "bang" behind her and when she turned she saw a big man lying motionless on the ground.
Cops overlooking the matter are now searching for the man's girlfriend.
