Sir Bruce Forsyth has revealed that he quit the talent show 'Strictly Come Dancing' as he feared the show was making him ill.
The 86-year-old TV confessed that the hit BBC series took a tremendous toll on his health and kept giving him flu, the Mirror reported.
Sir Forsyth, who announced his retirement a week ago, said that live TV is strenuous, especially when some shows are an hour and 40 minutes, asserting that he had to do all the announcements and run up the stairs to get out of the way and that he did that 40 or 50 times.
He also said that he was getting the flu and that he always got flu in studios as they were so full of germs.
