Professional American golfer Will MacKenzie recently compared golf ace Rory McIlroy with the star golfer Tiger Woods, after the Northern Irishman's stunning round of 11-under 61 at the Wells Fargo Championship.
MacKenzie, who played with McIlroy during the Quail Hollow course record round that included 11 birdies, said that "Tiger was the man. Rory is up there. He's Tiger-like to me," News24.com reported.
MacKenzie had never played with McIlroy before and watched in awe as the world number one crushed his tee shots massive distances and took dead aim at pin after pin.
Complementing McIlroy, the two-time PGA tour winner said that it was phenomenal, he overpowered the course and thinks would fill the shoes of Woods.
