India's shocking nine-wicket victory over Australia in the second ODI in Jaipur on Wednesday was also the scene of a number of records, making the game a memorable one in the history of the game.

Australia has now lost the four highest run-chases in ODI cricket, starting with the still-world record total they made and then conceded against South Africa in 2006, and been involved in the top seven, winning only twice.

According to News.com.au, one of the records made was that the match was the second- highest successful ODI chase of all time (1-362 chasing 360), while Indian batsman Virat Kohli's 100 off 52 balls was the fastest hundred by an Indian batsman, and seventh fastest of all time.

The report further said that Kohli's ton was also the fastest against Australia in an ODI, while India's score (1-362) is the highest total made for the loss of one wicket or fewer in an ODI, adding that the game featured the equal-most half-centuries (8) in an ODI.

The report further said that Australia also made a record by being the first team to have all of their top five batsmen score half centuries in an ODI, adding that it was only the second time one team has had five half centuries in its innings in an ODI.

The report also said that it was the also the second time when the top three of both teams have scored half-centuries in an ODI, adding that the total runs in the match that came through boundaries (438) was the third-highest in an ODI.
