A Scottish tea grown company will soon be crowned with Gold Award at the prestigious Salon Du The in Paris, for producing and serving the finest tea in the world.

The Dalreoch Estate Wee Tea Plantation's smoked white tea has beaten other teas from China, India and Sri Lanka, and will be honored for being best, the BBC reported.

Tam O'Brann, owner of the company which is situated in the Scottish Highlands, told '5 live's Nicky Campbell' that they knew it was good, but they didn't really expect it to be considered as high as it has gone and will get honoured.
