Karnataka Janta Party (KJP) president B S Yeddyurappa and two of his party MLAs formally rejoined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) here on Thursday.
Prahlad Joshi, president of the Karnataka unit of the BJP, warmly welcomed him and other members of KJP into the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Yeddyurappa said that the decision to quit the BJP was wrong in hindsight, as it had helped the Congress to come back to power.
He said the need of the hour for the BJP was to stay united and to aim for 20 Lok Sabha seats from Karnataka.
