Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Saturday described himself as 'Vibhishan', and said he will help Prime Minister Narendra Modi to defeat 'Ravana' (Nitish Kumar).

Manjhi also attacked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and termed the latter as the 'worst politician in Bihar'.

"Jitan Manjhi is Vibhishan. I accept this because today evil Ravana needs to be defeated. I will tell Prime Minister Modi how to defeat Ravana. Only then Lanka can be defeated," Manjhi said while speaking at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally in Muzaffarpur.

"The Ravana-like Nitish Kumar calls himself 'Chandan' (Sadalwood). I will tell you, there isn't any worst politician than Nitish Kumar in Bihar," he added.

The Prime Minister launched a number of schemes on his day-long visit to Bihar today and promised the people of the state a package bigger than the amount of Rs 50,000 crore.

He also delivered a blow to the Nitish Kumar-led RJD by saying that he agreed with the latter that the development of Bihar has suffered due to politics.
