You may soon step into virtual reality 'Star Wars' scenes

If you are a 'Star Wars' fan, then this news might make your day today, as you will soon be able to experience virtual reality 'Star Wars' by the end of 2015.

The companies behind the spectacular effects of the franchise till now i.e. Lucasfilm, Skywalker Sound, and Industrial Light & Magic have announced of forming ILM Experience Lab or ILMxLab, for creating virtual and immersive reality experiences, the Verge has reported.

They also informed that the ILMxLab will debut even before the release of 'The Force Awakens'.

A video has also been published to ILM's YouTube account consists of using Structure Sensor-equipped iPads and Oculus Rifts, that will allow one to explore the dusty streets of Tatooine with C-3PO and R2-D2, or pilot an X-Wing.
