Indian smartphone brand, Micromax and Yu have gone public with their intention to offer the latest features on its products. The brand which was reported to be working on new smartphone codenamed 'Project Caesar' will indeed come powered by Lollipop version of Cyanogen OS.
Yu in comparison with Xiaomi, its closest competitor is obvious, which is using KitKat and offering the latest Android version much before its Chinese counterpart, will go a long way in earning consumer's trust and respect.
According to gizmodo.com, the company is slated to release the new OS to its Yureka smartphone later this month. This update will bring forth major Material Design changes to interface, slick design with added Cyanogen elements.
About Project Caesar, nothing can be said for sure what to expect from the Yu v2.0 device, at least from hardware point of view. However, let us hope that Yu tries to better its pricing of the next product and make it even more affordable, something Xiaomi has decided to stay away from.
