Zee Cine Awards 2017: Amitabh Bachchan wins Best Actor award

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was bestowed with the award for Best Actor for his role in 'Pink' at the Zee Cine Awards 2017 at Jio Garden here.

The 74-year-old was recognised for his role as a fierce lawyer, who stands deeply against patriarchal and judgemental Indian society, hellbent on proving that these women are of 'questionable character'.

'Pink' is a Delhi-set thriller also starring actress Taapsee Pannu, is being directed by Bengali filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, who helmed the 2006 National award-winning film 'Antaheen'.
