Zehovire Avi Kechu of the St.John College here, won the Miss Dimapur 2015 title at a glittering ceremony at the Dimapur District Sports Complex (DDSC) Stadium on September 25.
Eighteen-year-old Kechu, who believes in creating awareness and emotional support to people living with HIV/AIDS, won the hearts of the crowd and the judges that led her to win the coveted title Miss Dimapur.
Jenny Kent was crowned 1st runners-up and Nuhulu as 2nd runners-up.
Ethnic Group of Nagaland (EGoN) has been organising the Miss Dimapur contest for the last 25 years.
The 25th edition of Miss Dimapur 2015 saw Additional Commissioner of Dimapur Elizabeth Ngully, Fashion designer Nandini Baruva, General Manager, Indigo Airline Tanuja Bhagat and former Major Mohommed Ali Shah as judges in the panel.
