#2015GenevaMotorShow: Hyundai Unveils Updated Version of ix20

At the ongoing 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Hyundai has unveiled the facelifted version of ix20. Designed especially for the customers of Europe, the car is based on previous model with cosmetic updates inside out alongwith updated engine lineup. The facelift version now gets a sporty and bold hexagonal front grille, bi-function projector headlamps, LED tail lamp cluster and rides on 16-inch or 17-inch alloy wheel option.

With a wheelbase of 2615mm, the car offers an ample amount of legroom which gives comfort to back seat passengers and also adds enough amount of boot space (440-litres).

The interiors of ix20 is offered with two color options to chose from-all black or two-tone beige,  new generation audio system with Bluetooth, ipod, AUX and USB connectivity and heated steering wheel as an optional feature. Another optional feature include an optional tilt/slide dual-panel panoramic glass sunroof.

As UK government recently made it mandatory for cars to have six airbags, ESP and ABS and EBD, the ix20 is packed with all such features.

Powering the car is the 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engines both coupled with the six speed manual gearbox. The 1.4-litre engine is tuned in way to give an output of 76bhp and 88bhp while the peppier 1.6-litre engine musters 113bhp and 126bhp of power. The automaker also offers 1.4 and 1.6-litre petrol CVVT engine mated with six-speed automatic engine.
