2016 Ford Endeavour launching on 19 January

According to a few reports, Ford India has started shipping the all-new Endeavour to its dealership network across the country. Ford has also started giving workshop training sessions to its technicians for the same.

Launch of the next gen Endeavour has been highly anticipated post the Thailand media drive and this brawny SUV will take on the segment leader- Toyota Fortuner and the recently launched Chevrolet Trailblazer.

If size is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of an SUV, this brute will definitely get your eyes popping. It has evolved in terms of looks, engine and features and almost everything one can think of.

Cosmetically, the front-end of the Endeavour gets a massive grille, bigger and better looking front bumper along with projector headlamps and DRL’s. The sides are bestowed with 20-inch diamond cut wheels that find home in massive arches accentuated by fender flares, chrome bezel embossed with the respective engine.

The 2016 Endeavour is expected to be launched with a choice of two engines, a 2.2-litre unit which churns out 150 PS of power and a mightier 3.2-litre unit which produces close to 200 PS of power. Both the engines might come with optional 6-speed automatic and 4x4 set-ups as well.

Ford has been pricing their products spot-on in the recent past and we expect the same to happen with the upcoming Endeavour.
