The launching spree is in full swing, festive season began September onwards and we have numerous launches last month including new cars, facelifts, minor refreshes and even limited editions. The same continued in October with the launch of Ciaz – the most anticipated launch ever since the Expo! Fiat too drove-in an expo offering - the Avventura crossover - that too at an affordable pricing. And then there were Etios siblings facelift & Nissan Terrano turned one!

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

Maruti's third venture into the mid-size sedan space after the Baleno and the SX4 – Ciaz seems to a promising product and is likely to change the past of its predecessors. Carrying over the engines from Ertiga but in a slightly different state of tune in a completely radical styling and is nicely equipped given the price it is offered with.

Fiat Avventura

Lot of people are touting it as the Fiat India's fortune changer – do you think the same? If not the fortune changer, it may be the initial right step towards success! Separating from Tata Motors, Fiat is constantly improving the after-sales of their products and establishing brand deeper inside the country. Adding more on it, making a global premier in the country shows how committed the Italian automaker is towards India. Speaking of the Avventura, based on the EVO – Avventura is as stylish as Punto is along with added versatility through 205mm ground clearance, 16-inch fatter radials and high terrain gauges.

Toyota Etios & Liva facelift

Toyota updated the Etios sedan and Liva hatch this festive season to push-up the sales of the duo. Etios range is now entirely updated with these two along with the recently launched Etios Cross. What makes these refreshes interesting is that the Etios range now comes standard with dual-front airbags and ABS.

Nissan Terrano Anniversary Edition

Meanwhile, Nissan Terrano turned one! Nissan celebrated the first birthday of Terrano, the slightly premium version of Renault Duster by launching its limited 450 unit Anniversary Edition. The birthday boy is dressed in a contrasting black roof with twin stripes, a spoiler and lots of chrome. Major change on the inside is that it gets a head-up display – that gives directions, speed and time information on the windscreen.
