Datsun, the wholly owned subsidiary of Nissan is offering benefits upto Rs 30,000 on its entry level Go hatch. To lure more buyers, the automaker is also offering free gift on every test drive. Launched in the month of March, the car is best suited for the first time buyers. Based on the brand’s motto of Dream Access and Trust, the car delivers a fuel efficiency of 20.63kmpl. The company is also giving special offers to doctors, farmers, corporates, govt employees and bankers.
In terms of comfort and interior features, the car offers speed sensitive electric vipers, power steering, front power windows, Mobile Docking Station (MDS) with amplifier, universal mobile holder, aux-in and USB charger, front speakers, central locking and full wheel covers.
Placed against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Alto 800, Hyundai Eon and Alto K10, the Go hatch embraces 1.2-litre petrol engine which develops a power of 67bhp and peak torque of 104Nm. The engine delivers its power to front wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
The carmaker will also launch the MPV based on Go hatch in coming months. Christened as the Go+MPV, the vehicle offers a seating capacity of 7 people. According to the latest media reports, the automaker has started the manufacturing of GO+ MPV at Renault-Nissan Oragadam facility in Chennai. The MPV is expected to be launched in the month of January 2015 through Nissan dealerships only.
