Ford has showcased another teaser video of its new performance vehicle set to be unveiled on the coming 17th of this month. This is arguably the most revealing teaser to date and towards its end, a V8 resembling engine's growl can be heard, suggesting that it is indeed the Mustang GT350, though the clip doesn't reveal any prominent visual details about the car. Clearing a lot more air is the font used in teaser for the '11.17.14' reveal date, which is identical to the font of the GT350 badge, leaked few months back. And if you remember, this is the same font which the company had also used on the previous Shelby GT500.
The teaser shows senior Ford executives talking about the Blue Oval's motorsport heritage, and how the lessons learned on race-track has helped in influencing their road-going performance cars. One of those executives is Ford CEO Mark Fields, who said, "We can compete with anybody and win," suggesting that there might be a motorsport program linked with the new car. The clip also shows some key points of the car, such as a free-revving engine with huge power specs, utilisation of lightweight carbon fiber components, Recaro seats and large Brembo brakes.
All these teasers have been pointing about the vehicle being driver focused as well as very track credible. And following this teaser, the American car major will be releasing two additional videos before the official November 17 reveal. While the car’s first public appearance is likely to happen at the Los Angeles Auto Show, commencing the next day
