Ford Releases New Video Showcasing Endeavour's - Terrain Management System! [Video]
Already confirmed the new Ford Endeavour is coming to India this year, designed from scratch it’s an entirely diff territory compared to the currently selling SUV!
The production version of the new Endeavour was revealed last year in China and was entitled to go on sale in nine markets this year including India. Speaking of which, the vehicle is expected to launch later this year after the next-gen Figo and its Figo Aspire compact sedan. Moreover, to other markets our Endeavour is known as Everest, now the irony is that, we have the Mt. Everest in India!
Terrain Management System
Now, speaking of the new video released by Ford Asia pacific, it demonstrated the Endeavour/Everest’s new advance Terrain Management System. It’s similar to that found in the high end SUV. The system features Normal, Snow, Sand and Rock modes, you can opt depending on the terrain the vehicle is maneuvering. It is expected that Ford India will offer it in the country and it will be segment first feature.
Like globally, Ford India is expected to introduce engines that were revealed at the time of unveiling. It will be getting a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder diesel unit along with a 5-cylinder 3.2-liter TDCI in the country. While in other markets it will also be offered with a 2.0 liter EcoBoost turbo petrol. Moreover, the SUV features six speed manual unit along with six-speed automatic with manual mode featuring shift-on-fly four wheel drive and the above mentioned Terrain Management System.
