Isuzu Motors, the quintessential SUV maker finally unveiled product at the ongoing 2014 Indian Auto Expo. Isuzu SUV’s will be produced locally, with high localization at the HM manufacturing plant. Though sharing the same design, D-Max is priced lower than the luxurious MU7.
Isuzu is a known brand for Indian, as it is the engine supplier for the Hindustan motors for years. Isuzu Indian lineup includes MU-7 SUV and D-MAX pick-up.
The MU-7 boosts spacious seven seat profile and will rival against the likes of segment top seller Toyota Fortuner and others.

The SUV is powered by in-line four cylinder2,999cc intercooled variable geometry Turbo charged Diesel mill churning out 160.7bhp at 3,600rpm and peak torque of 360Nm between 1,800 to 2,800rpm. It is priced at Rs 23.75 lakh (ex-showroom Hyderabad).
