Maruti Suzuki launches ALto 800 in VXi trim

India's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki India has silently introduced the Alto 800 in the VXi trim for Rs 3.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the Alto 800 VXi with metallic paint option has ben priced at Rs 3.17 lakh. The information has been fetched from the company's official website. The new mid variant will cost around Rs 13-14,000 more than the Alto 800 Vxi.

As far as the features are concerned, the new Alto 800 VXi has all-door power windows and central locking, left side rear view mirror, rear spoiler, drive side airbag and some other add-ons over the LXi variant.

The Alto 800 derives its power from a 796cc petrol mill that churns out the maximum power output of 48bhp and 67Nm of torque. As compared to the last generation Alto, the new Alto 800 is a little more spacious, in fact the fuel efficiency of the new version too has been improved by 15 per cent.
