Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG facelift spied

Mercedes-Benz, the German luxury carmaker is all set to launch the facelift version of the CLS Class. The vehicle has been spotted during its test rounds, ahead of its late 2014 launch. The luxury car maker seems aggressive with their strategies and is planning to introduce several new and facelifts in the coming years to grab the top spot in luxury car segment.

WorldCarFans managed to click the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG facelift, proving some information about the new model. The regular CLS and sleeker shooting brake variant has already been spied, but this time the range-topping AMG model caught undergoing testing. The new model gets a redesigned front facade and rear with larger air intakes.

It is expected that the 2015 CLS63 AMG will get the same 5.5-litre V8, twin-turbo engine that churns out a maximum power output of 557bhp and 720Nm of peak torque. It takes 4.2 seconds to reach 100kmph from standstill or if buyer opt for the 4MATIC version it takes mere 3.7 seconds to touch 100kmph mark.

The company will also offer the 4MATIC S-Model which is capable of developing 585bhp and 800Nm of top torque. This version sprints to 100kmph from zero in just 3.6 seconds while the shooting brake will do it in 3.7 seconds. The vehicle has an electronically limit top speed of 250kmph.
