Nissan India that had released the official sketches of the much anticipated compact SUV Terrano a month ago, has now confirmed to unveil the vehicle in Mumbai on August 20. And like we informed earlier, this will be the last cross-badged vehicle from Renault-Nissan alliance. However the Terrano has been designed on the hugely popular Renault Duster compact SUV, Nissan has managed to make it look refreshed and different than the later.
The rear of Nissan Terrano has some sheet metal changes, a split rear light arrangement, while some part of the lights has been given on the bootlid. But the most noticeable changes that the Terrano has received are at the front fascia. Having the revised bumper, honeycomb design, new headlamps and a big Nissan badge, the Terrano looks quite appealing. In fact the front fascia of the Terrano seems to have taken inspiration from the company's flagship SUV X-Trail.
Other than the changes mentioned above, we are expecting the car to remain the same, however Nissan could load more features inside the cabin, which might make the vehicle about Rs 50,000- 60,000 pricier than the Duster. Now when the unveiling is taking place on August 20th, expect the vehicle to launch sometime festive month October, which we believe is the best time to launch a vehicle in the country.
This is all what we have for now, stay tuned to CarDekho for all the latest updates on the same. Cheers!
