Porsche, the german super-car maker, who introduced the Macan SUV at the LA Motor Show, is all set to commence the SUV's deliveries by April 2014. Shockingly, the entire lot of 50,000 units, which was the initial target of company for sale in the whole 2014, have been booked within 2 months of its unveiling which took place in November 2013. Even, Porsche was not expecting such an overwhelming response and as a subsequent result, the company has decided to reconsider its manufacturing and sales target.
Porsche Macan hasn't even reached to its first customer yet but its every unit is sold out. This unlikely yet phenomenal response has forced the German automajor to escalate its production capacity to 80,000 units. Although, the company was banking high on this sports SUV as soon as it pulled off the curtains from this SUV and Macan has raked in some exceptional moolah for the company by becoming the highest sold Porsche vehicle ever.
