Renault Duster reaches 1 million mark in four years

The French automajor, Renault has produced 1 million units of Duster since its launch four years ago at 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The milestone model of Duster was made yesterday in Brazil and also found its 1 millionth owner on the same lands. Renault has covered a vast market with its successful SUV model, Duster, and has outlined five major markets for the Duster. The particular SUV finds more customers in Russia with sales of 151,633 units while France helps churn sales of 145,612 units annually. Brazil falling third on the list with the sales of 117,303, followed by India with 85,974 units. Germany is the fifth largest market with the sales of 70,159 units.

As for the India market, the most awaited Duster facelift will further churn more sales for the company. We expect this car to arrive by third quarter this year. It features both exterior and interior upgrades including a host of newly added features like restyled front grille, blacked out headlamps, additional cladding and others.

Renault also said the sales of the Duster in 2013 has been progressive with the sales number over 376,000 units.
