After a long wait, the Renault Kwid will finally make its debut tomorrow. The entry level hatchback will challenge the Alto 800 for its throne of the A segment and is well prepared to do so. It might be the baby renault but in no way, does it look the part. It has an SUV like stance with bold body lines and a big front grill with the French’s insignia.
Design
A lot of the design elements seem to be borrowed from its elder brother, the Duster.

Power
Kwid is powered by a 3-cylinder, 799cc engine which produces 54 bhp and 72Nm of torque. This powerplant is mated to a 5-speed MT with well optimized gear ratios to suit city driving.

Rivalry
The baby Duster seems to be well equipped to handle all its competition with a SUV-ish stance, segment’s first touchscreen infotainment system, a sporty all-digital instrument cluster and a wide range of add-on of accessories.
