Soon after the teaser, Tata has now revealed the official Sketch of its upcoming Kite hatchback. The car will be available in both hatchback and sedan avatars and will compete with Celerio, WagonR, Chevrolet Beat, etc. The sedan has no rivals and will will belong to a category of its own. Tata is expected to price it in a range of Rs. 3.5 to 5.5 lacs.

The car is designed at Tata’s design studios in Italy and United Kingdom and will be sold globally. The hatchback is expected to be revealed at the 2016 Auto Expo but with the teaser and sketch out, Taja just might surprise its customers with an early reveal. Kite is being built on the XO platform and will most probably be manufactured at Tata's Gujarat facility. The teaser showed that the tail-lamp unit has taken a desirable change with the brake light now underlining the clear lense section. The headlamp cluster gets a twin-pod design which is blacked out with separate housing for the indicators. The grille is similar to the current models but have been worked upon to look more appealing.

Kite’s latest teaser featured Tata’s global ambassador Lionel Messi. This will be part of Tata’s #madeofgreat campaign that will be broadcasted throughout the words to increase its global reputation.
