Volvo, the Swedish automaker will launch the facelifted S60 saloon and the XC60 SUV in the Indian car market by the late October. Carmakers are making full use of festive season and introducing several new products and facelifts to capitalize on the festive mood of the people. Volvo is also doing the same by introducing the revised S60 and Xc60 during festive occasion. It is also speculated that the company is also planning to launch the facelifted XC90 in India, and the next year's Auto Expo seems perfect time for the introduction.
The facelifted S60 Saloon and XC60 gets a refreshed look, improved interiors and a slightly tweaked engines. The new vehicles comes equipped with a more broader front end, new and slimmer lights and more aggressive horizontal lines. The S60 saloon sports an all-new interior level and the black trim available on the XC60 has been removed. The facelifted sedan features an adaptive cornering lights while the XC60 SUV gets a torque vectoring.
The vehicles also gets a new multimedia system which features a seven-inch touchscreen. The revised vehicles also has a new TFT instrument panel, which is also available in the V40 Cross Country. The automatic versions of the vehicles also received the steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The exact pricing details for the updated S60 Saloon and XC60 SUV is still behind curtains, but we expect these vehicles to be priced around Rs. 1.5-2.5 lakh more than the current models.
