Adani Transmission lost 4.7% to Rs 219 at 12:46 IST on BSE after consolidated net profit fell 33% to Rs 66.69 crore on 9.3% growth in net sales to Rs 746.03 crore in Q2 September 2017 over Q2 September 2016.
The result was announced on Saturday, 28 October 2017.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 111.22 points or 0.34% at 33,268.44.
On the BSE, 1.09 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.49 lakh shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a high of Rs 224.15 and a low of Rs 218.40 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 237.10 on 24 October 2017 and a 52-week low of Rs 40 on 9 November 2016.
The large-cap company has equity capital of Rs 1099.81 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
Adani Transmission is into power transmission business and is a part of business conglomerate Adani Group.
