Market witnessed broad-based selling pressure at 15:30 IST on concerns that an early rollback of US monetary stimulus will spark selling by foreign investors.

The S&P BSE Sensex was down 4% at 18,593.

The S&P BSE Healthcare index was down 1.43% at 8,985.48.

The S&P BSE IT index was down 2.31% at 7,439.74.

The S&P BSE Auto index was down 2.32% at 10,627.01.

The S&P BSE Teck index was down 2.59% at 4,262.35.

The S&P BSE FMCG index was down 3.99% at 6,461.67.

The S&P BSE Power index was down 4.34% at 1,397.

The S&P BSE PSU index was down 4.59% at 5,173.74.

The S&P BSE Oil & Gas index was down 4.70% at 8,168.65.

The S&P BSE Capital Goods index was down 4.93% at 7,298.62.

The S&P BSE Metal index was down 5.45% at 6,962.11.

The S&P BSE Bankex was down 5.61% at 10,794.12.

The S&P BSE Realty index was down 6.11% at 1,263.23.

The S&P BSE Consumer Durables index was down 8.28% at 5,899.75.
