Australia Market ends flat
Capital Market Australian equity market finished session marginally higher on Monday, 25 September 2017, with gains in the healthcare, material and industrial stocks offsetting losses in other sectors. The S&P/ASX 200 index rose 0.03%, or 1.563 points to 5,683.7 at the close of trade. Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Sydney Stock Exchange by 581 to 565 and 381 ended unchanged. The S&P/ASX 200 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of S&P/ASX 200 options, was down 4.36% to 12.300.
