Australia Market ends higher
Capital Market Australian share market putted on weight on Wednesday, 21 September 2016, helped by gains in industrials, consumer staples, energy, property trusts, financials, and realty blue-chip stocks. At close of trade, the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index rose 36 points, or 0.68%, to 5,339.60, while the broader All Ordinaries index has gained 32.10 points, or 0.59%, to 5,429.40. Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Australia Stock Exchange by 595 to 489 and 332 ended unchanged. The S&P/ASX 200 VIX, which measures the implied volatility of S&P/ASX 200 options, was up 2.44% to 15.242.
