Bajaj Finance in focus after raising funds via NCDs

Bajaj Finance said that its debenture allotment committee at its meeting held on 4 September 2017, allotted 5,050 non-convertible debentures (NCDs) aggregating to Rs 505 crore on private placement. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 4 September 2017.

Bank of Baroda said that Life Insurance Corporation of India sold 2.039% or 4.69 crore shares of the bank in the open market from 10 July 2017 to 1 September 2017. After the sale, LIC now holds 7.249% stake in the bank. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 4 September 2017.

Karnataka Bank said that it has reduced its one year marginal cost of funds based lending rate (MCLR) by 5 basis points from 1 September 2017. With the reduction, one year MCLR stands at 8.85% per annum. The announcement was made after market hours yesterday, 4 September 2017.

To support the women entrepreneurs, the bank has decreased the rate of interest on its KBL-Mahila Udyog Scheme to 9.9% from 1 September 2017. The bank is offering housing loan upto Rs 75 lakh at a competitive interest rate of 8.6% per annum, which is linked to 6 months MCLR of the bank.
