Bharti Airtel rose 2.46% to Rs 313.85 at 9:24 IST on BSE after consolidated net profit surged 115.1% to Rs 610 crore on 13.3% growth in total revenue to Rs 21939 crore in Q3 December 2013 over Q3 December 2012.
The Q3 result was announced during trading hours today, 29 January 2014. The results are as per International Financial Reporting Standards.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 136.63 points or 0.66% at 20,820.14.
On BSE, so far 1.22 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 3.20 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
The stock hit a high of Rs 313.35 and a low of Rs 301.25 so far during the day.
