Bharti Airtel provides update on plan for buy back of shares

Awaits High Court approval on scheme of amalgamation

With reference to approval of the Buy-back by Board of Directors of the Company, Bharti Airtel announced that the scheme of amalgamation of Augere Wireless Broadband India , (Augere), a wholly owned subsidiary with Bharti Airtel is under consideration for approval by the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi. Therefore, pursuant to the SEBI Buy-back Regulations all actions in the matter including the public announcement, will be undertaken once the scheme has been disposed-off.
