Birla Ericsson Optical announced that a fire had erupted in the optical fibre storage area inside factory premises of the Company at Rewa, Madhya Pradesh on 27 October 2014.The stocks of optical fibre stored inside the factory premises have been destroyed and the actual assessment of loss in under progress. Normalcy / regular production is expected to be resumed within 2-3 days.
