CEAT standalone net profit rises 14.30% in the March 2016 quarter

Sales decline 1.89% to Rs 1382.51 crore

Net profit of CEAT rose 14.30% to Rs 102.23 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 89.44 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015. Sales declined 1.89% to Rs 1382.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2016 as against Rs 1409.16 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2015.

For the full year,net profit rose 51.36% to Rs 452.52 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 298.97 crore during the previous year ended March 2015. Sales declined 0.61% to Rs 5458.66 crore in the year ended March 2016 as against Rs 5492.25 crore during the previous year ended March 2015.
