China Stocks fall ahead of the MSCI decision on A shares
Capital Market The Mainland China equity market closed lower on Tuesday, 20 June 2017, on caution before MSCI Inc. announcement whether it will add Chinese domestic shares to its benchmark indexes. The Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.14%, or 4.36 points, to 3,140.01. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.12%, or 2.21 points, to 1,879.06. The CSI 300 - which tracks the large caps listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen - fell 0.2% or 7.18 points to 3,546.49. The Nasdaq-style ChiNext rose 0.3% or 18.33 points to 1,820.98.
