Cyient firms up after strong Q4 results

Cyient rose 1.30% to Rs 594 at 11:24 IST on BSE after the company reported strong results after market hours yesterday, 25 April 2019.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 51.72 points, or 0.13% to 38,782.58.

On the BSE, 65,000 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 5,571 shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 635 and a low of Rs 588.25 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 887 on 11 May 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 571.10 on 29 January 2019.

On a consolidated basis, Cyient's net profit rose 49.16% to Rs 176.60 crore on 9.52% rise in net sales to Rs 1162.90 crore in Q4 March 2019 over Q4 March 2018.

Sequentially, consolidated net profit jumped 91.33% to Rs 176.60 crore on 2.09% decline in net sales to Rs 1162.90 crore in Q4 March 2019 over Q3 December 2018.
