Fedders Lloyd Corporation rose 6.56% to Rs 75.50 at 9:44 IST on BSE after the company said it bagged orders worth Rs 106.99 crore from Odisha Power Transmission Corporation in Bhubaneshwar.
The announcement was made after market hours on Friday, 2 January 2014.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was up 83.23 points, or 0.30%, to 27,971.13.
On BSE, so far 1.04 lakh shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 31,483 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 78.60 and a low of Rs 75.20 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 95.95 on 27 August 2014. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 28 on 30 January 2014.
The stock was unchanged in the past one month till 2 January 2015, outperforming the Sensex's fall of 1.96%. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, rising 10.19% as against Sensex's 4.97% rise.
The small-cap company has an equity capital of Rs 30.77 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
Fedders Lloyd Corporation has been awarded contracts aggregating to Rs 106.99 crore by Odisha Power Transmission Corporation in Bhubaneshwar for design, engineering, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of construction of 2x20 MVA, 132/33 KV sub stations and associated transmission lines on turnkey basis, in various districts of Odisha in joint venture with Jagbankdhu Enterprise in Bhubaneshwar.
Net profit of Fedders Lloyd Corporation rose 17.87% to Rs 10.42 crore on 19.82% rise in net sales to Rs 327.36 crore in Q1 September 2014 over Q1 September 2013.
Fedders Lloyd manufactures window air conditioners, split/ducatable air conditioners, package air conditioners, chillers, transport air conditioners and heat exchangers.
