Future Consumer leads gainers on BSE's 'A' group

Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company, Unitech, Jaiprakash Associates and Ajanta Pharma are among the other gainers in the BSE's 'A' group today, 8 December 2017.

Future Consumer surged 12.11% at Rs 65.75 at 12:00 IST. The stock topped the gainers in 'A' group. On the BSE, 32.66 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6.4 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company spurted 10.48% at Rs 231.35. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 15.18 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 5.44 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Unitech jumped 6.74% at Rs 6.49. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 51.63 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 15.43 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Jaiprakash Associates climbed 6.49% at Rs 18.05. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 50.59 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 35.73 lakh shares in the past two weeks.

Ajanta Pharma rose 5.12% at Rs 1,391. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 25,000 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 60,000 shares in the past two weeks.
