Gateway Distriparks drops as Morgan Stanley sells shares

Gateway Distriparks fell 0.83% to Rs 192 at 9:47 IST on BSE after Morgan Stanley offloaded bulk shares of the company through open market transaction on Friday, 16 March 2018.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 5.58 points or 0.02% at 33,181.58. The S&P BSE Small-Cap index fell 0.27%, underperforming the Sensex.

On the BSE, 1,939 shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 34,274 shares in the past one quarter. The stock had hit a low of Rs 190 so far during the day, which is a 52-week low for the counter. The stock hit a high of Rs 192.45 so far during the day. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 292 on 6 July 2017.

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 108.73 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

Morgan Stanley offloaded 10.06 lakh shares of Gateway Distriparks at Rs 201 per share in a bulk deal on the NSE on Friday, 16 March 2018. Promoter Prem Kishan Gupta bought 10 lakh shares. Prem Kishan Gupta controlled 0.76% stake end December 2017.

Gateway Distriparks' net profit fell 37.4% to Rs 10.24 crore on 3.4% decline in net sales to Rs 80.37 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016.
